We are looking for a Sous Chef to work at The Roundhill Pub. The Roundhill is an 100% Plant-Based venue, and has fast gained a reputation as a mainstay in the Brighton vegan scene. Our Mon-Sat menu is a mixed of enhanced plant-based pub food with some small plates and more refined dishes. Our Sunday roasts are particularly popular; we were proud to win ‘Best Roasts’ in the 2021 Bravo Awards. We are open 7 days a week, looking for someone who can work some evenings and weekends.
What we are looking for
- Chef experience working in a similar environment.
- A passion for food and an understanding/respect for Plant-Based food.
- Stable career history with sustained employment periods in each role
- Dedication, motivation, and positivity
- Flexibility to cover shifts as required.
- Passion to deliver outstanding dishes whilst demonstrating good food knowledge.
- The ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a genuine and approachable manner
